The Indiana Optometric Association is the voice of Indiana optometrists in venues where state laws and policies are made which could impact the profession or the patients it serves. While the Indiana General Assembly is in session, the IOA constantly monitors legislation and takes action on bills when action is needed. Throughout the year, the IOA monitors the activities of various state boards, commissions, agencies and courts to ensure the profession and the ocular health of patients are not compromised.
