This course discusses occult (hidden) retinal diseases, their traditional methods of diagnosis and how new technologies (SD-OCT, mfERG, FAF and Panoramic AFA) are aiding and even changing the way these diseases can be diagnosed and managed.

This course will discuss the clinical applications of optical coherence tomography in both glaucoma and retinal disease

This presentation will focus on updates of current advancements in the treatment of retinal, macular and vitreous diseases and surgery to include diagnostic, pharmacological and surgical procedures.
2 COPE/OLDPAC Hours 25691-AS 3:00-5:00 p.m. Laura Windsor, O.D. Maximizing and Managing Vision: The 12 Visual Problems of Low Vision Patients
This course will detail the 12 most common vision problems associated with vision loss from various diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinitis pigmentosa, glaucoma, and other congenital ocular diseases. This multimedia course will include video animations of these common problems and their affect on vision and the person’s daily living. An introduction to low vision devices and aids will also be addressed to help improve functioning in activities of daily living.

This course will review the latest research on presbyopic soft lens correction as well as new developments in silicone hydrogel multifocal lenses, and provide pearls for maximizing success with these novel new lenses.

Back to the Future - It's Time to Re-Think Daily Disposable Soft Lenses
With all of the excitement surrounding silicone hydrogel contact lens materials over the past several years, daily disposables have taken a back seat and are often overlooked as an option for soft contact lens wearers. However, daily disposable contact lenses provide many benefits, such as convenience, comfort, clinical performance, and safety, and therefore should be considered a viable alternative for many patients. This course will review the advantages of daily disposable lenses and the benefits that this overlooked modality can bring to your patients and practice.
